2009

January 2009

If any one wants logion details, passwod etc just say so it is a good way to get info:

We had a great trip to Soverign Hill last week end - Sue, Ash, Kylie, Tim, Courtney, Kelly, Hayley, Darren, Sean, Caitlyn and Shamus - we had such a good time - I just wish the rest of you could have been there. Sean is going to get in touch with Steven to see if Sean, Shamus Steven and Tyler plus others can organise a trip to Soverign Hill soon. .... I will add a few photos to the pics page ASAP

Sean is headed for Adelaide early in Feb for a tournament - more later.

Hi Hayles – yes – a very good photographer, nice photos  – I will get around to updating the web site one day, no time since Oct last year – we are totally flat out completely booked out this weekend too – I will send you login details ASAP so you can add to it yourself that would be terrific if you could find some time to do so – see you soon – Love Dad

Hi Dad and Pat,

Did you get the email I sent earlier with the link to our engagement photo session our wedding photographer did with us?  We had a lot of fun – I have attached 2 images here just in case you want them for the family website – I was having a look at it again today and noticed our engagement wasn’t there – although we told everyone straight away anyway so probably no need to J!!  If you are putting it up there though, Daz proposed on the 7th November and we’re getting married 9th October 2009 on a boat – yay J!!!

Really looking forward to Saturday too – although we’ll probably be there about 10.30 realistically now – we have a final inspection of our house at 9am Saturday (because settlement is next week!!), which should take no longer than half an hour and then we’ll be coming straight to Sovereign Hill.  I’ll bring the camera so as well and hopefully we’ll have even more stuff to put on the website.

December 2008

Kris Kringal 2008 was a great success as usual - a 13 minute video was taken. Its available to any who are interested - send an e-mail to rod@hoskwood.org  and I will get it to you some way. (A link didn't work)

November

We had a great time when the Fudo Shin team were here - see the Pics in the News pics page.

October

We are looking forward to Sean's visit this week-end. Heard from both Sue and Kelly via facebook this week Sue may be in this area early next year and Kel will be back in November (Melbourne) - Pat is in Ararat today getting an eye test and shopping. A new page of photos of the Main house were added today too.

We are finally back on the air after a number of web site hosting issues and major time issues of your truly - so here is the news in BRIEF since the 28th of August.

Leanne has contacted us - fantastic. Blieve it or not Reece is now 18, living on his own with a full time job and his own car. Christian is 14. Mark is back in the arny and in Timor. Any one who wants her email address please contact us on rod@hoskwood.org or pat@hoskwood.org

We had Tyler up in Stawell for most of the school holidays we all had a real ball. Rod took Tyler home to Melbourn on the train _ Steven, Hayley, Darren, Tyler and Rod had dinner together on South Bank and had a great time.

We missed Kelly as she flew back to Bandaarche that morning. She is back again in November to take up her new post as International Health Advisor to the Red Cross.

Isa wins the park footy tipping competition, Rod second and Mick third - Darren picks up the wooden spoon for the second year running.

September etc

News: - as at 28 Aug 2008

Hayley and Darren buy a home in Altona Meadows realestate.com.au follow the link I hope it works? property details>>

Pat and Isa are away in Daylesford for a few days (I'm home alone - oh joy?) - They seem to be having a good break and are going to Ballarat today for shoping and other sports.

There may be an interuption to email service (I hope not) because I plan a major upgrade to the park server - going to wireless broadband - apparently not tested in an network environment - the joy of being at the bleeding edge of technology I suppose.

Strange about the Air crash near Cheltenham - Sean and I were just saying last week it is surprising there arn't air accidents with the vast quantity of air traffic arround Moorabbin - I hope it wasn't our mozz that caused it!

News: - from early Aug 2008

Stawell Park Caravan Park is for SALE!! - Whilst this is not the latest news now is it? (we are still anchored to Stawell for the time being) we really do have some real news -

The house and land - the back 40 - are ready for sale and it is priced very attractively at $249,000 neg or ono - please see those pages for more detail.

Currently Isa is visiting and we are looking forward to a bit of R&R as well - not me this time as she has to go back to melbourne before too long - shame.

Shamus turned one 20/8 and I went to Melbourne to celebrate it with him. See Haayleys photos on facebook very good
